I purchased this after the recent death of my precious Abuela. My heart is broken at her loss and butterflies are a symbol of our bond and so when I saw this collection by Made by Mary I knew having something from it to wear daily to honor her memory would be exactly what I needed it. I don’t have any tattoos so sentimental jewelry is therapeutic to me. The butterfly bracelet is perfect, since gold chain bracelets also honor the memory of my other grandmother who passed a few years ago, and the butterfly itself is not overtly large compared to the fine chain. I love that this one can be stacked or worn alone and looking down at the butterfly throughout the day brings me comfort as I remember the gift my Abuela has been throughout my life and continues to be in her legacy that lives on. The gold vermeil is almost on the more rose gold side than other gold plated/dipped and genuine gold jewelry I wear regularly but it isn’t overly noticeable when worn. I love this piece for many reasons, so thank you for creating such a darling bracelet!
