Social Media Customer Support Specialist
Marketing Team, Part Time
The Social Media Customer Support Specialist is a skilled communicator and passionate community builder. With experience in customer service and social media, this role will own all aspects of customer support that comes through social media channels. With attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills, they will help the marketing team in making improvements in the Made by Mary customer journey. This role requires a dedicated work ethic, adaptability, and an eagerness to dive in on the Made by Mary customer and brand.
Duties + Responsibilities
- Monitor all MBM social media accounts, including responding to comments and direct messages in a timely manner, posting and commenting on UGC, etc.
- Generate + execute engaging, unique, and compelling responses for social media accounts
- Monitor and report results of online reviews and public commentary
- Build community and boost brand awareness through engagement on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram
- Assist in customer service inquiries and directing customers/community to the correct place
- Answer product questions and knowledge of all things happening at Made by Mary
- Manage and build community on the Made by Mary Facebook VIP account
- Collaborate with marketing team to create blog posts
- Provide marketing team with Frequently Asked Questions and customer feedback
- Support Social Media Manager in posting stories, tagging product, giveaways, etc.
- Keep up-to-date with social media trends and best practices
- Ensure the Made by Mary brand, identity, and voice is represented appropriately in all social media

Qualifications + Abilities
- 1-2 years of experience in a social media or customer service role
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with careful attention to detail
- Positive attitude through thick and thin and an eagerness for all things MBM
- Ready to perform and meet deadlines in high pressure, fast-paced working environment
- Passion for building community
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms
- Proactive and resourceful with a self-starter mindset
