How To Put In Live In Hoops

  1. Open the hoop by gently pulling apart and twisting each end away from the other.

  2. Place the earring horizontally so the thinner end is on the front of your lobe and the other end is on the back of your lobe.

  3. Insert the thinner end into your piercing.

  4. Carefully twist the two ends back toward each other and insert the thinner end into the other.

  5. This may take a few tries, but be patient! Once it’s in you can leave it in as long as you like.

  6. Having a little trouble? Try putting it in backwards so the earring goes through the back of your piercing and attaches in the front of your lobe. Or enlist the help of a friend to secure!

  7. Sleep, swim, sweat, and see the world with comfortable 24/7 wear.

  8. We recommend checking occasionally to ensure the hoop is still securely closed.

    These are the absolute best earring I have awned!! They are light weight, so much so, you forget you’re are wearing them!! Once I put them in, I wear them day and night, which is not true with other brands, while showering , even swimming!! 💯% worth the money!!

    Really wanted to love these

    Despite reading other reviews regarding the difficulty of getting these in, I was so excited to get this order in the mail. These earrings are so simply and classy looking. These were hands down the HARDEST earrings I’ve ever tried to put in but I didn't let that sway my opinion of them because of how cute they looked once in.

    Upon putting these in, my ears were pretty sore from all of the fidgeting that had to be done. They were okay to sleep in, definitely not the most uncomfortable but I noticed some pinching/pulling of my skin and where the earring “closes.” With 2 weeks of constant wear, I had so much irritation from the constant pinching and pulling on my skin that I started getting blister like sores. I took out one of the 3 pairs for the holes that seemed the most irritated. The irritation went down within a few days and I continued to wear the others thinking I could “just deal with it.” I never ended up putting that first pair back in because one you have to bend them to take them off, they lose their shape (as seen in attached picture) and it was hard to attempt to get them back in securely. I left them in for just under 3 months before finally deciding to take all of them out and leave this review.

    I am super disappointed because, again, I really wanted to love these. Despite the literal pain they caused, they’re so cute and versatile.

    50 mm Hoops

    I love these hoops. They are my everyday earring because they are light weight. I don’t notice them in my ears most of the time. I do take them out at night, but that’s personal preference. I have always taken out love piercing earrings.

    Beautiful and they don't hurt my ears

    I've always had to wear 14k gold or better earrings otherwise my ears would get extremely infected, so I was a little nervous buying these. I decided to give it a shot since they had glowing reviews and were also meant for people with sensitive ears. Well, I'm here to say that I have been wearing these hoops, plus their Luxe 3-prong Stud Earrings, since September 7 and have NO issues (it's currently October 20)! If my ears don't like a certain metal they will end up infected within the week, and we are way past that timeframe and are going strong! Love these and will definitely be buying more from Made By Mary. Absolutely obsessed.

    Finally earrings I can wear!

    I think these are amazing! Being allergic to nickel and never finding an earring I could wear with ease, has made it hard. But now I can wear these daily and live in them like everyone else ❤️

    I just got the live in earrings in sizes 9mm and 12mm. I Am In Love!! They’re so sweet and simple and so comfortable. I got my 2nd piercing a couple months ago and needed something that wouldn’t rip out every time I pulled something over my head. These are perfect and so worth your money!!     Sleepable! And cute

    I got the 16mm and 20mm to stack. They look great and are super lightweight. I’m a side sleeper and haven’t had many problems, sometimes gotta help them lay in a more comfy spot super quick. Take your time getting them in, it’s tricky. This part I don’t recommend but I’ve had to re-heal my upper lobe piercings in these after they became extremely irritated from stuck studs I couldn’t get out before an unrelated surgery. The team was able to get them out after I was sedated. Hurt a whole lot to get the hoops in but I’ve been healing fine since.
