Description

Made by Mary is looking for an organized and driven Website Manager to join their growing digital team. As the Website Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of website initiatives that align with the company's goals and brand vision. This role oversees the day-to-day maintenance and administration of the madebymary.com website and ecommerce platform (Shopify) along with any associated app integrations and plug-ins to ensure that the user experience is positive, functional and easily navigable.


Duties + Responsibilities

  • Support the Ecommerce Director with end-to-end website development projects by compiling briefs and submitting tickets to the web development agency and ensuring timely execution and successful implementation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, while considering SEO and merchandising strategies
  • Stay informed about the latest Shopify updates, features, and plugins, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to enhance website functionality, Conversion Rate Optimization and SEO performance
  • Monitor website analytics and generate reports on KPIs
  • Optimize website performance by implementing SEO best practices, conducting keyword research, and staying up-to-date with industry trends to increase organic traffic
  • Ensure the website complies with the appropriate laws, regulations, and accessibility standards
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding SEO best practices, website merchandising strategies, and UX/UI optimization
  • Reply to, troubleshoot and resolve website issues
  • Assist with social media campaigns and other marketing efforts as they pertain to the website (landing pages, conversion rate optimization, lead capture forms, etc.) 
  • Adaptability to take on new responsibilities and tasks as needed

Qualifications + Abilities

  • Great project management, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, web development, marketing, communications or other related field preferred
  • Knowledge of the Shopify platform and its various features, including theme customization, app integrations, and e-commerce functionality
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript is preferred 
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, keyword research, and on-page optimization techniques
  • Excellent communication skills and careful attention to detail 
  • Experience with merchandising setup, including product categorization, collections, and cross-selling/upselling strategies
  • Positive attitude and an eagerness for all things MBM & ecommerce
  • Proactive and resourceful with a self-starter mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Creative problem solver and excited to share new ideas or potential solutions
  • Ability to manage partners with a high degree of integrity and accountability
