The Wholesale Sales Manager is responsible for establishing and developing relationships with Made by Mary sales partners and will implement growth strategies to expand the physical presence of our products in retailers around the greater United States and across the globe. The Wholesale Sales Manager will work with their wholesale team and Director of Operations to service current wholesale customers and drop ship channels, identify and contact potential partners, attend trade shows, meetings, and networking events, and put steps in place to develop and achieve sales objectives. This position will require some travel.

Duties + Responsibilities


  • Oversee the holistic growth and success of all aspects of our wholesale business
  • Determine the strategic approach and positioning among our wholesale business relative to D2C sales, identifying sales and market opportunities and setting department goals
  • Manage all aspects of our wholesale operations, inclusive of pricing strategy, order processing, and other factors while collaborating closely with other business functions such as merchandising, marketing, operations/production, and finance
  • Introduce and manage successful launches of new collections and pieces to our wholesale customers
  • Build industry expertise among the categories we operate in, attending trade shows and fostering business relationships with key partners as necessary
  • Set up and manage scheduled check in calls with key accounts to identify business needs and foster growth
  • Support management by implementing key account strategy, helping to launch the brand into new territory
  • Identify and contact potential business partners, vendors, and suppliers

Events and Visual Merchandising

  • Determine which trade shows and events we will exhibit at to help grow our B2B channel 
  • Manage the event and budget for each trade show, making sure the event and those attending are properly trained and have strategic goals in place
  • Partner with the merchandising team to generate brand books and selling guidelines
  • Manage our online catalog among our various channels and marketplaces for B2B and wholesale sales
  • Oversee the team that onboards new customers and capture all needed documentation for terms / tax exemption
  • Create and implement proper timelines for production and fulfillment of orders


  • Sales leader with 5+ years of experience working in a similar wholesale position within the fashion, lifestyle, or jewelry sector
  • Experience in growing and managing a team
  • ERP, Shopify, B2B marketplace & DSCO drop shipping platform experience. 
  • Excellent administration and organization skills
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with key accounts
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to build working relationships with multiple partners at different levels
  • Positive and inspiring team player and a confident communicator
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to tight deadlines
